ATTENTION CLUBS!: Show producing clubs will be charged $1.00 surcharge per entry
beginning with shows licensed on or after September 1, 2001 and/or
occurring after January 1, 2002; $.50 of this surcharge will go to
CFA and $.50 to the region where the show is held. Clubs will be
expected to submit payment with the show records package at the
conclusion of the show. The surcharge does not apply to International
Division or Canadian clubs. Regions may still collect the regional
surcharge for shows held prior to the effective date of the national
surcharge.
The following show rule change passed by the CFA Board will take
effect May 1, 2002. Clubs should note this change so that they can
plan accordingly. Add to Show Rule 12.03 a new paragraph d. as
follows:
12.03 d. Any show held on a weekend different from the previous year
must have the written permission of the Regional Director for the
region in which the show is planning to be held. Written
permission must accompany the show license application. Shows being
held in the International Division must have the authorized signature
of the Chairman for the International Division if they are applying
for a show date different from the previous year's show.
